Career resources among higher education students: a mixed-method study

Increased attention has been paid to the way Higher Education institutions contribute development of graduates’ employability. Such issue is particularly relevant in light current uncertainty experienced labour market, among younger people, that was recently exacerbated by Covid-19 pandemic crisis. Building on career resources framework, which integrates a set are expected predict success, including human capital resources, social capital, psychological and identity this study aims explore student’s over their graduation courses students’ perceptions about contribution higher education degree for success. For purpose, mixed-method explanatory sequential design conducted. The questionnaire applied 339 Spanish students from public university, then 18 interviews were results obtained allow us conclude generally malleable developed throughout studies. It also possible identify dimensions where present more fragilities, namely those related exploration knowledge future professional opportunities surrounding environment, establish some relation between individual characteristics educational experiences resources.
